Winter's Eve Warmer
About the recipe
This is the perfect fireside drink for late summer camping when the days start to shorten and there's a chill in the air, for the long winter evenings, or when you're feeling under the weather – and it's just as comforting without the alcohol.
little batch Wild Blackberry Syrup works just as well as Spiced Elderberry. Why not try both and see which you prefer!

Freshly boiled water
Garnish ideas: fresh or dried orange wheel, star anise, cloves or a cinnamon stick.
A single measure of dark rum or whisky if you’re making an alcoholic hot toddy.
