About the recipe

Red Sky at Night....it's pure delight!

This vibrant mocktail artfully balances tart raspberries and hibiscus with gentle sweetness, while honeysuckle and lavender add delicate floral notes. This makes a stunningly unique thirst-quencher that's perfect for relaxing in the garden on a balmy summer evening.

Whilst you may find many of our recipes work as a mocktail or cocktail, it's best to keep this one as just a mocktail. The Mellow Meadow tea contains herbs that are traditionally used to support relaxation - for some people, this may have more of a sedative effect, so it's best not to bring alcohol (also a sedative) into the mix.

Ingredients

Preparation

  • First, cold brew the Mellow Meadow tea by adding a heaped teaspoon of the blend to 200ml of cold water and let it brew for 20-30 minutes until it turns a beautiful deep pink.

  • Once your tea is ready, strain off the blend. You could keep this aside to make a hot brew later, or put it in your compost.

  • Add a few raspberries to the bottom of your glass and muddle to break them down.

  • Add ice and pour your Mellow Meadow cold brew over the ice.

  • Add 25ml Honeysuckle & Hibiscus syrup.

  • Top up with 50ml soda/sparkling water and stir.

  • Garnish and enjoy!
